OH WHAT A NIGHT

Last week Scawfell Studios proudly presented “MAGIC WEIRDOS NEVER DIE” An exhibition curated by Australian Illustrator Sean Morris. Sean and his fantastic bunch of weirdos definitely know how to party. The exhibition, featuring 11 different artists from all over the world is disgustingly spectacular, even if we do say so our selves.

The line-up includes Australian art heroes Ghostpatrol and Kyle Hughes-Odgers, Spanish comic artist Berto Fojo, the prolific Luke Pelletier from the States and killer London based illustrators Suzie Kemp, Jasper Dunk and Jon Boam. Along side these phenomenal names there was the usual awesome depravity from Londoner James Unsworth, the black metal space demons of Madrid’s Manuel Donada, beautifully strange and politically charged drawings from Florida’s Dillon Froelich and the white trash fables of Sean Morris himself.

To all of you who made it down for the Launch we salute you for taking part in what was a truly weird and magical night. For those of you who missed out dont fret! the exhibition will be on until the 21st of June. Our gallery and cafe operates from 10am till 4pm Monday-Friday.
